There is something comforting about a big bowl of ramen, especially when you find a place that gets the flavors right. During our visit to Zuru Ramen & Boba in Ocala, we had a really enjoyable overall experience, from the welcoming atmosphere to the generous portions that left us talking about the meal long after we left.

Zuru has a casual, relaxed atmosphere that makes it a great spot for a quick lunch, dinner date, or a laid-back meal with friends. The restaurant has a modern feel while still being comfortable and inviting. The staff was friendly, and our food came out fresh and quickly.

Most ramen bowls are priced around $15–$16, making them a reasonable option considering the portion sizes. Appetizers generally range from about $5–$10, rice bowls are around $14–$17, and drinks like their Thai tea and boba options are typically around $6–$7.
The menu has plenty of choices, whether you prefer something spicy, savory, or a little sweeter with one of their specialty drinks.
What We Ordered
I ordered the Kimchi Ramen, and it was easily the highlight of the meal. The broth was flavorful and had the perfect balance of savory richness and spice from the kimchi. The toppings added great texture, and every bite had a little something different going on.
The best part? The portion size. My boyfriend kept laughing because he said, “The bowl just keeps going.” Every time he thought I was almost finished, there was somehow still more ramen left. The bowls are definitely generous, so make sure you come hungry.
I also ordered the Thai Tea, which was the perfect pairing with the ramen. It was creamy, refreshing, and had that sweet, classic Thai tea flavor that balances out the spice from the kimchi ramen perfectly.
