Menu Overview

The menu is exactly what you want from a place like this—variety without being overwhelming. You’ve got:

Lunch menu featuring Hibachi, Bento Box, Maki Lunch, and Sushi Bar options with various sushi and meal combinations, including prices.
  • Bento box lunch specials
  • Hibachi meals cooked fresh
  • Sushi rolls, including specialty rolls like the Jimmy Smith
  • Clear soup, miso, and small appetizers like gyoza and tempura
  • Noodles, fried rice, and combo plates

It’s the kind of menu where you can go light with sushi or go all-in with a full hibachi meal. The lunch bento boxes are especially popular because they give you a little bit of everything without the dinner price.

What I Ordered

A bento box featuring fried rice, salad with diced beef, pickled ginger, and mixed sautéed vegetables, alongside a plate of sushi rolls and dipping sauce.

I went in for lunch and ordered a bento box, a Jimmy Smith roll, and clear soup.

Everything came out quickly, which immediately set the tone. The bento box was well put together and actually felt like a complete meal instead of something thrown on a tray. You get a good mix of flavors and textures without anything feeling like filler.

The Jimmy Smith roll was fresh and balanced, not overly heavy, and had that clean, made-to-order taste you want from a sushi spot. The clear soup was simple but exactly right—light, warm, and a perfect start to the meal.

Service

This is where this place really stood out.

Our waitress was quick, attentive, and had a genuinely contagious smile. It didn’t feel like forced service—it felt natural, easy, and actually welcoming. She stayed on top of everything without hovering, which is a balance a lot of places miss.

At one point, I was digging through what can only be described as my kitchen-sink purse trying to find my card, and without hesitation she stepped in and bagged my food for me. It was such a small moment, but it honestly made a big impression. That kind of awareness and kindness is rare.

Overall Experience

Grace Japanese Steak House on Maricamp is one of those dependable spots that just gets it right. The food comes out fast, tastes fresh, and the portions are worth it for a lunch stop.

But what really makes it stand out is the service. When you pair good food with genuinely great staff, it turns a simple lunch into something memorable.

This is the kind of place you keep in your rotation because you know exactly what you’re going to get every time—and in this case, that’s a really solid experience.
